What is the best affiliate network for magento merchants?

Postby arieldarco » Thu Oct 24, 2013 8:23 am

Hi, I am running two magento stores and I believe it is a time to start working with some affiliate networks. What are the advantages of using an affiliate network platform as a merchant? What are the best affiliate networks out there, from a merchant's point of view?

Thanks

Hello Arieldarco,

It is hard to say which affiliate network would be right for you. Everything depends on a type of business you are running. First you need to decide if you want to run your own affiliate platform or use existing affiliate networks?

If you want to use your own affiliate platform, then you can just install some magento affiliate plugin (see here: http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento- ... grams.html). However you will have to start looking for publishers on your own as well. This is complicated and we do not suggest this approach if you just starting.

For beginners it is the best to use existing affiliate networks with thousands of publishers who knows how to write articles about other products and have popular websites.

See some of the best networks here:
http://mthink.com/affiliate/
And here:http://www.pubcon.com/affiliate-network-breakdown-%E2%80%93-top-5-affiliate-networks

Please note that you must make your own research and try to find which network has more retailers from your niche. That is going to be right network for you as well.

P.S. Plumrocket almost finished our own magento extension for affiliate networks. This extension should help you to integrate any existing affiliate network on your magento store. Contact us for more info.

Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot Alex! I will definitely get back to you on affiliate network integration for my stores. Do you know when you are planning to finish your magento extension? What affiliate networks it will support?
